Logging Out of SAFE

Logging Out of SAFE

This guide will walk you through how to log out of SAFE.

Users are encouraged to log out of SAFE when they are finished working to ensure concurrent licenses remain available for other users.
Step 1: To Logout of the software, simply click the Power Icon located in the top right-hand corner of the Navigation Menu.

Step 2: Users who do not log out will be automatically logged out after 30 minutes of inactivity (default setting). After logout, a confirmation message is displayed:

Administrator Only: Users are encouraged to log out of SAFE when they are finished working to ensure concurrent licenses remain available for other users.

Note: Administrative permissions are required to change organization settings.

To update the automatic logout (timeout) setting: Log in with Administrator permissions and navigate to Navigation Menu → Settings → Organization → Org Settings, update the Timeout value (in minutes), Select Edit. Be sure to save your changes.

SAFE TIPS

  1. When a user signs in, they take up 1 Concurrent Access License (CAL) for as long as they stay logged in
  2. To keep licenses available for others, users should log out after they’re done
  3. If all CALs are in use, new users won’t be able to log in and will see: “Maximum Number of Concurrent Access Licenses has been reached”
